Branci
Branci is a contemporary, international and informal all-day café in Lecce. It does not want to be defined as a bar, a pastry shop, a brunch spot or a restaurant: it follows the rhythm of the day, from the first coffee of the morning to the last slice of cake in the afternoon.
In the morning the protagonists are specialty coffee and the pastry made in-house: laminated doughs of French and Nordic inspiration such as croissants, pain suisse, pain au chocolat and cinnamon rolls, alongside banana bread, carrot cake, cookies and brownies. The savoury side gathers ideas and techniques from different food cultures: eggs, toast, pancakes and brunch plates, simple and contemporary.
The space is bright, warm and contemporary, with Nordic, Japanese and Mediterranean notes. The name itself joins “brunch” and “Franci”, and tells the story behind the project: a spontaneous, curious way of welcoming people, where hospitality counts as much as what arrives in the cup or on the plate.
